Dispensing Optician – Fulham
The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispensing Optician in Fulham – to join a team in providing excellent eye care services. The ideal candidate will support all the team, Optometrists, Optical Assistants, in delivering high-quality vision care to all patients.
The Responsibilities
- Ensuring clinics are set up and the team are ready for the day
- Prepare patients for eye tests and procedures
- Help your team understand the best frame selection and fitting (Training staff)
- Handle administrative tasks, scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients – problem solving – complaints
Your Experience
- Previous experience working closely with your colleagues – mentoring
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to eyewear production – helpful
- Understanding of basic anatomy, especially related to the eye, is advantageous
What you’ll be doing day to day
- Primarily, you’ll use your professional skills and passion for your patients to inspire your colleagues
- Deliver really memorable customer service
- You’ll bring your amazing personality into the day to day running of the practice setting high standards to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Finally, you’ll build firm and longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community.
